Just like in Chinese calligraphy, where every character represents an idea, my “human calligraphy” represents much more than the body of the model.

Interior Light

The idea of this series came during a session painting a living model. More than painting the body of these nude models, I was fascinated by the moment of introspection that they were offering to themselves. Every posture was a touching moment of connection with their interior light, enveloped by the shadow of their body.

Just like in Chinese calligraphy, where every character represents an idea, my “human calligraphy” represents much more than the body of the model.
